Our Middle School Friday Night Lights Showcase is coming up, on Friday, August 2nd. This event is open to middle school players (we have extended our entries to allow kids entering 5th through 8th) from Ogallala and any other surrounding communities. We are looking forward to an awesome night under the lights in Ogallala Stadium!! Walk up registrations are allowed - See you August 2nd!

We will fill backpacks with the supplies we currently have, then use the donations to purchase supplies that we are short on. Monetary donations will also be used to support students who enroll in OPSD mid-year and are in need of supplies. OHS Class of 1989 went on a tour of the OPSD facilities with Superintendent, Dr. Gene Russel. 🏅❗️Attention OHS Senior Athletes❗️🏅 For all athletes that will be seniors this year at OHS, the Senior banner pictures will take place on July 25th and July 26th at MaKenzi's Photography in downtown Ogallala! You can stop in anytime between 9-5 on those days to get them done. You will need to get ahold of your coaches for a jersey you would like to wear in the picture! These are the banners that will be hung up in the Prairie View gym throughout the school year! You will also get these to keep at the Athletic Banquet. Check out this beautiful new sign that greets all who enter OPSD Kids Oasis!🎨 Thanks to the creative learners at Summer Oasis and local muralist Breanna Benton the KO entrance sign is up! The students took ownership and pride in their painting with Breanna and it shows. We love the final results!

At the May OPSD School Board meeting, the board honored 3 model students and one dedicated educator! These students & staff have shown what it means to do things “The OG Way.” They are risk-takers in and out of the classroom, show grit in all they do, and take ownership of their learning. We are so proud of our May students of the month, Adeline Feeney (elementary), Taryn Namuth (middle grades), Presley Nowak (high school), and teacher of the month, Dan Stokey ! Adult meals: breakfast $3.00 and lunch $5.50.
