On March 28, Mrs. Maupin, Bryleigh Mead, and her parents participated in Cane Quest at the NE Center for the Education of the Blind and Visually Impaired. CaneQuest is a challenging and fun orientation and mobility contest. Students have to complete each quest to earn coins. This was Bryleigh and Mrs. Maupin's first time attending. They were introduced to new things, and showing off what they already knew. Parents had workshops on how the cane gives independence. We love seeing our students, staff, and families involved in all aspects of a child's education!
