Congratulations to our own Caleb Most, who is one of 62,000 students from across the country to earn academic honors from the College Board’s National Recognition Programs! Caleb earned the National Rural and Small Town Award by excelling on their PSAT/NMSQT. National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, helping them stand out during the admissions process. The OHS cheerleaders and are working to spread kindness throughout the Ogallala Community and OHS. As part of the campaign, the squad is selling t-shirts that say “Be Kind." The orders for the shirts will close on August 31st. The squad is also utilizing the hashtag #ChooseKindnessOHS to post with when wearing your shirt or participating in acts of kindness! For this “Be Kind” movement the cheerleaders have also made some “kind” bags to hand out to the student body, spectators of OHS activities, or others within the community of Ogallala who show acts of kindness to others! Thank you for all of your support!
