Prairie View 1st-graders Will, Teagan, Harper, and Siennah and 2nd-grader Tatum, made a fantastic choice with their PBIS points—they used them to lend a helping hand in the library! These eager students enjoyed pushing the library cart and going on the collection route, checking in books, and making sure they were ready to return to the shelves. Their enthusiasm and teamwork made a big difference—thank you for being such awesome library assistants! #CultureOfConfidence

First-grade students have been reading stories about how animals help people. They read about guide dogs and the important jobs they do. Students then had the opportunity to host special guest speakers Jill Max and Gibbs, Prairie View School Therapy Dog! Mrs. Max and Gibbs took this opportunity to teach 1st-graders about Gibbs’s job as a school therapy dog! It was an engaging and exciting presentation! #CultureOfConfidence

Mrs. Van Velson's Transitional Kindergarten class has been working hard on shapes! The students loved this hands-on activity of making shapes with play dough! As they were making each shape, they discussed the attributes of that shape. We love seeing our students highly engaged in their learning! #CultureOfConfidence

Mrs. Waitley's 3rd-grade learners have been learning about how scientists use living animals to learn more about dinosaurs by comparing their bones. In one of their recent activities, the students measured their leg length and had to test to see if they could outrun a dinosaur! We love this hands-on and engaging approach to teaching science! #CultureOfConfidence
