Today our OMG Wrestlers competed at the Bluffs Middle School Wrestling Meet. This was the team's first meet. The boys and girls all wrestled really well! The team came home with three wrestlers earning medals!

What a way to celebrate Halloween by bowling! OHS Unified Bowling squad played South Platte. It was candy-inspired! Spares and strikes earned the bowlers candy. Ogallala was the overall winner!

Prairie View 5th-grade students were super pumped about the new technology they received in their classroom last week, as was their teacher, Mrs. Gilmore!! Mr. Mumm's 4th and 5th students have been utilizing the NASP (National Archery in the Schools Project) in PE. Students have learned archery safety, parts of the bows and arrows, and the steps to shooting accurately. It is such a unique, hands-on experience for our students!

The OMG Builders Club is doing a coin collection for Zambia! The collection will occur between October 31 - November 3rd in the gym before school. The group will also be trick-or-treating for coins! The money collected will be used to help fund proper education and health services. The grade that brings in the most money will earn a CARAMEL APPLE PARTY (sponsored by PV PTO)!
OHS Unified Bowling kicked off their bowling season on October 28 by competing in a Quad in McCook. They lost to Lexington but bowled their hearts out! We can't wait to watch you bowl this year! Go Big O!

OHS FB had an incredible season but fell short to the Auburn Bulldogs, 32-36. The team played hard every drive until the last second. We are so proud of this team & the passion, dedication, & drive every single player & coach had this season. #ImpactFootball #CultureOfConfidence

Prairie View students are able to learn about the 6-Healthy Habits from UNL Extension Educators! The lessons involve different healthy habit topics: MyPlate, fruits/vegetables, whole grains, sugars in beverages, serving sizes, and reading a nutrition foods label. The goal of the program is to reach the families of students with positive, healthy habit topics.

Mrs. Fehr's kindergarten students explored the shapes and patterns that could be found in sunflowers! While outside completing their investigation, they ran into second grade! 2nd grade students were so excited to join in on the learning and fun!
