The PV Middle School Student Council is working to put together their annual Santa for a Senior project. The council members are asking for your help to sponsor the residents of Wel-Life and Indian Hills Manor. For just $5, you'll be able to help provide socks, lotion, and a treat to a resident.

Holdgrede will also be hosting a winter coat drive as a way to receive free admission into the game.


Tonight OHS Wrestling hosted Gering for a dual at Prairie View. Overall, OHS came up short in team points. There were some exciting matches to watch!

To spread holiday cheer, the OHS Student Council added festive touches to Indian Hills Manor with handmade decorations! They also adorned the hallways of OHS, filling the school with Christmas spirit for both staff and students.

We would like to honor and thank Traci Rezac for her years of service to OPSD. Mrs. Rezac will be retiring at the end of the 2024/25 school year. Traci has been a huge asset to the district for many years. We will miss you but we wish you all the best in your retirement. #CultureOfConfidence

Our incredible PVE Ambassadors were hard at work shopping for toys as part of the Lake Mac Rotaract Caring and Sharing project, set to assist those in our community during the holiday season. From selecting the perfect gifts to spreading smiles, these students are making a difference in our community! We love seeing our students take ownership and work to make our community a better place!

OHS Unified Bowling Squad gave it their all today in Lincoln! The team fell to Seward in the semi-finals. This earned the team a 4th place finish at the State Tournament! We are so proud of the fantastic season that you all had!

Best of luck to our OHS Unified Bowling Squad as they head to the State Tournament! The team will bowl at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln. We are so proud of you!
The team is composed of Drew, Bradyn, Isaac, Oliver, and Christian. They are coached by Melinda Neilsen.

Prairie View Elementary Ambassadors were spreading holiday cheer with thank you notes and a plant for the staff of both Indian Hills and Wel-Life. Our Kids with Character project not only honors our Prairie View Students but we have incorporated our community as well. With CARING as our trait this month we appreciate all of the dedication, care, kindness, and empathy the staff at both facilities show towards the residents in Indian Hills Manor and Wel- Life nursing home.

OHS Boys Wrestling hosted their first dual of the season! Overall OHS team fell to Alliance in points. Everyone wrestled hard, these individuals won their matches: Diego Juarez (106) won by tech fault, Austin Fosbinder (120) won by points, Zaiden Peterson (126) won by a pin, Ryder Rezac (157) won by tech fault, and Julian Newman (190) won by points.
It was a fun evening on the mats!

OHS One-Act is hosting a public performance on Sunday, December 8th at 2:00 p.m. in the OHS PAC. The troupe has earned championship honors at both district and conference competitions! It's a performance you won't want to miss! They will be competing at the State Play Production Competetion in Norfolk on Friday. #CultureOfConfidence

Prairie View 4th grader, Louden Brown, was chosen as this month's Kids with Character award, given by the PVE Ambassadors!🥇🧡
He displayed kindness, care, and empathy towards his classmates and teachers. The PVE Ambassadors observed students the last few weeks to determine the winner. Runner-ups were Bowyn Armknect, Will Wiesler, James Call, and Ariana Lorea.
We are so proud of all these students for being role models of caring, kindness, respect, and responsibility. They make our school a great place to learn and grow!
